Hey guys.

After a bit I checked your site again and was pleased to see you made it through! It was an excellent time meeting you on the trail and I hope your assimilation back to regular society wasn't too stressful.

I dream nightly of getting back out there.

Good work fellows!

Hey Spoon and Hazard,

My wife and I gave you and your friends a lift yesterday at Carver's Gap down to 19E. Had to check out your blog like you suggested and what a great job you've done! And what an adventure the thru-hike had to be!

It was great meeting you and you've got us both wanting to check out Bob's Dairyland, even if it is in Tn. Looks like it'll be worth the sacrifice.

Take care and I'll be watching for your next adventure.

@michael: The gear in the table that is in the original background color is gear that we started with at Springer Mountain in Georgia. Along the way we added some gear, which is highlighted in green, and got rid of some gear, which highlighted in red. To keep the iPod Touch charged I simply charged it in the towns we stopped at along the way. We had originally brought a Solio solar charger but found we rarely used it so it was sent home.

It's also why you don't accept a job that requires you to be back on or before a specific date.
